Resortwear That Refuses to Go Out of Style

Blue Breeze Resortwear is an independent Florida label, making timeless capsule resortwear from organic to recycled fabrics. Brittany Kay and her mother started the label out of simple frustration: so many resort wearers chased trends, and their clothes fell apart within a season.

In Cortez, Florida, Brittany Kay and her mother are building a resortwear label on one quiet conviction: that a dress should outlive the season it was bought in.

Blue Breeze: Timeless Resortwear, Made Slowly in Florida

Blue Breeze Resortwear is that independent slow-fashion label that is designed to move from the beach to dinner and stay in your closet for years. Pieces you’ll reach for year after year, cut from organic and recycled fabrics, and made in small batches.

The core materials are organic and recycled textiles used across the clothing and swimwear collections. With dyeing practices, They use OEKO-TEX®-certified dyes and botanical, plant-based coloring processes designed to avoid harmful chemicals. Production runs are small, with ethical manufacturers following fair-trade guidelines, and the handmade bracelet sets are cut from deadstock fabric. And if you’re wondering about the shipping? They use recycled materials whenever possible.

What makes Blue Breeze Resortwear more than a "slow-fashion label" is the unending love poured into it. Brittany and her mother lost the son and brother they loved too soon. He used to sign his name with a ‘B’ drawn as a heart, and that heart-shaped ‘B’ is now the logo, carried through the brand as their way of sharing his love.
